We live in a suburban 4 bedroom house with large terrace, garden and outdoor pool, on the West side of Budapest in Hungary. We have two dogs, a large and very friendly male boxer, 7 years old, and a 5 year old female dachshund. Our home has a lovely garden, and is 20 minutes by bus / 15 minutes by car from city centre.

Responsibilities: Caring for the house and the dogs; feeding the dogs; not leaving the property unattended at night; receiving post that has to be signed for, if any; checking the gas meter reading.

Things to know: A cleaner will be attending for some days during the period that we are away, not yet sure how many days or when; our handyman will also be visiting to undertake garden maintenance and repair / replace some wooden beams on the terrace. He also does the pool cleaning and chemicals, but may be on leave for part of the house sit period; the pool cleaning and chemicals are easy to learn and to do.
