Animal Rescuers 12-19 February 2022 Southern SPAIN – Cats and Dogs
OUR HOUSESIT – We live in a lovely four bedroom home in a gorgeous part of the Campo in Alicante, Spain. We have wonderful views over the campo and the mountains in the distance. We love cats and dogs and so we rescue animals and keep some at our home. Our home has a lovely pool, a jacuzzi and 2 televisions with good wifi reception. There are 2 bedrooms available for housesitters to use. The housesit is probably best for a couple or friends to manage together although an experience petsitter would be considered.
We are in the campo about 3 km from the town of Muro de Alcoy, which has all the amenities you would want. The town’s history and economy is based on the textile industry. There are lots of weekly markets selling fresh produce in the area – https://www.happings.com/en/weekly-markets-around-alicante.html
And there is a festival every year in May.
We have 8 dogs and 18 cats ( 9 are kittens). They live on the property. We have a room dedicated to the cats for those that live indoors. We use litter trays and we can describe all the feeding routines to you on application.
We are animal Rescuers and work and support various charities. We have rescued animals here the past few years and have 4 small dogs and four medium to small dogs, cats and older kittens. We would love a break and to travel. The work is relatively easy, the land we live on is big so the dogs don’t need to be walked unless you want to explore the area and take one or two with you.
We live in a quiet area of Spain in the countryside but with people around you. The property is fully fenced and lit with security lights. In the summer we have a pool. The villa is small and cosy and easily managed. The closest town is 3 kilometres from us at the bottom of our road. The area is surrounded by mountains and trees and is very tranquil and quiet .
