Description
MY DOG PICA
Pica is a very easy dog but being a large dog someone with dog experience is probably essential. She sleeps on my bed but at the bottom so will probably be a good idea if you don’t mind a large dog on your bed.
Walking routine – She only needs one walk a day and at other times you can just let her out into the large garden. She is whistle trained which is an easy way to get her back when on a walk. Plus she likes the odd treat on her return.
Health – As she has a small mammary cancer for which she needs 6 lots of tablets a day and these will need explaining. I also mix her dinner with broccoli at most meals as this is the wondrous anti cancer veg. Mixed with some dog feed, fresh beef or chicken and
a turmeric sauce, this only takes about 10mins to achieve. – Yes she is my spoilt daughter!
She is a very quiet, relaxed dog so if she barks there is a good reason and I always acknowledge that – even if it is 3 am ! We have had a few burglaries around here and she is the best burglar alarm ever ! – although most of the time it’s just a fox.
She is about 9 years old, I have had her for 8 years and she was a rescue from The Azores. All chained up and skinny, I bought her off the ‘owner’ and after 2 planes and a stopover in Lisbon, she arrived here. Luckily I am a Dog Trainer so trained her out of all bad habits
in the first year. She has just been spayed and it hasn’t affected her behaviour at all.
MY HOME
My home has 3 double rooms with a Mobiliser.com in one of them which you would be welcome to use. Very handy for most back problems! You would really need a car to stay here as the Amenities are not that handy and it would be better to take Pica on more interesting walks further afield. I can show you the best parks to walk her and places to visit nearby.
