House Central Italy, 1 dog, 6 cats Christmas/New Year 2023
Description
Authentic old Italian Rustico set in a large garden and olive grove. Our house is small (but with a big heart!) and comfortable with living accommodation on the first floor; pantry, kitchen, dining room, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. WiFi is available and we have central heating and a wood burning stove. The garden is fenced off and there is a patio area and small orto. This is not a holiday home; we have lived here for sixteen years and it’s still a work in progress!

Responsibilities: We have three dogs; one large Italian sheepdog and two *Spaniels (*who will be coming with us on our trip) and six rescue cats with access to the house via a cat flap. They are fed twice a day morning and evening. Freya is a large elderly dog who has weak bag legs and requires medicating (with her food, pain control in powder form and turmeric paste). She spends a large part of the day snoozing or barking at potential intruders!
The cats are independant who enjoy cuddles on their terms.

Things to know: We are situated in a small quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Adriatic Coast and the beautiful Sibillini National Park. This is a rural position, without the crowds and with all the experience of the real Italy. Our nearest towns of Penna San Giovanni and Sant’Angelo in Pontano are 4-5km away. Our nearest airports are Ancona, Pescara and Perugia and the major historic and vibrant towns of Macerata and Fermo are not far away. Transport is essential, our car may be available for use.
