Housesit 30 July – 6 August in Tonbridge KENT UK – Care for 1 dog
We are looking, ideally, for a single female housesitter, who loves dogs and can care for our new dog.
I live in beautiful Kent, the garden of England, in a lovely, spacious 3 bedroom house with it’s own garden. The house has a lounge area, dining area, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It has all of the facilities that you will need including a washing machine and a dishwasher. It has been recently decorated and is in great condition. The garden is completely secure and has a lawn so that on a sunny day you can sit outside and enjoy the wonderful weather that we enjoy in this county.
The house is a 5 minute walk from local shops and a 2 minute walk from local walks and countryside. There are lots of parks nearby and we are within a 1 minute walk from a bus stop which will take you into the local town and also to the train station. If you would rather walk, the town centre is a 30 minute walk and contains shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, parks, sporting facilities such as tennis courts and a historic castle. We are a 30 minute train journey into central London with all of the fantastic experiences that this wonderful city has to offer whether you enjoy museums, the theatre, shopping or great food. The coast is a 40 minute drive away which enables you to experience the hustle and bustle of somewhere like Brighton or enjoy a quieter experience such as Camber Sands.
We have a 4 year old rescue dog from Greece that also needs looking after while we are away. We have had him for a couple of months and he is still very nervous. He can sometimes growl but he is simply frightened of new things and is still getting used to his surroundings. Depending on how he settles with you, it may be a case of taking him for a walk once a day or it may simply be making the garden available to him during the day when you are in the house. He will also obviously need to be fed and be given water during your stay.
