Housesitting 19-25 July village of Cookham UK – Friendly dog
I need a housesitter for about 5 days in July to care for my dog Mocha, she is a healthy and happy dog with a friendly demeanour. The only reservation is she is not so keen on small dogs. Mocha a Newfoundland Labrador, she and I live in a quaint cottage in the charming English village of Berkshire UK, it is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home in a field, with nice neighbours. The village centre is about 1 mile away down a track, there you will find a small number of shops, pubs, restaurants and the historic Church made famous by the British artist Stanley Spencer. There is even a small museum and gallery dedicated to him in the village. This stretch of the Thames is also famous as inspiring Kenneth Graham author of the children’s book The Wind in the Willows. It’s a lovely village of great character offering scenic walks, especially in the Summer. The village has a train the goes to London which takes about 1 hr. Nearby are the county towns of Maidenhead, Bourne End and Marlow. MORE PHOTOS COMING SOON.
