Long term Housesit 15 Sept – 14 Oct ( flex) Malaga SPAIN – 1 dog
THE HOUSESIT –
We return to our home in Germany for a few weeks at a time, and regularly need housesitters to care for our dog and cats. Our dates for this trip are approximate and we could possibly need to stay away longer. The property and pets are easy to care for, our main concern is to find someone or a couple who is happy to keep our dog company. she is friendly and needs attention.
THE PROPERTY –
We live in a self – contained house in the campo, a lovely rural location near the main road. We are only 3.5 km from the village of Alora,in Malaga. The village is very old and has about 6000 people and it is a stunning place to live with lots to see. LINK – https://www.malagacar.com/information/alora_information.htm
Our house has a guest house alongside where our housesitters will stay. As housesitters you can use our main property for cooking and living during the day. We have good wifi in the guest house and the main property.
We have 5000 Square metres which doesn’t need much maintenance. There are lemon and orange trees, a swimming pool which is easy to care for.
One dog – a very friendly German Pointer, pure black, she will be 2 years old in April 2020.
Two cats – they are 4 years old, and very self sufficient cats with an outdoor feeder, they seldom come in the house.
OUR LOCAL AREA –
There is public transport from the village of Alora nearby. In our local area you can get to any coastal resort from the train in Alora in 1 hour, e.g. Fuengirola, Marbella. There are also buses from the village. Our nearest airport is in Malaga which is 45km away.
We have lived in this house for about 16 years and we know the area well. We’ll be happy to be your guides and suggest places for you to visit and enjoy. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants, and open air markets to enjoy.
We’ll introduce you to our lovely neighbour who can help you if you need support while you house sit for us.
We have a small car you can use while you are housesitting for us, subject to insurance documents and sight of your driving licence.
