Looking for a reliable long-term cat sitter for multiple weeks/ months in 2024 – in Northern California USA
Description
Comfortable Ranch -style 3 bedroom/ 2 bath house. Great room concept with office space area (standup desk with extra monitor for use). Good Reliable WiFi. Quiet neighborhood near many hiking. walking, biking trails. Minuets from stores and activities. Sitter will have guest bedroom (with Double bed) and private bath (across the hall) during the sit.

Responsibilities: Care for the cat: Feeding, a little play time, and scratches to head and chin, and in/out with the slider door. Daily refill of water bowls. Typically no cat-box scooping as he usually does his business 100% outside.
He's pretty low maintenance kitty except for in the morning - when he wants to go in and out (and in and out) and would like some food and play time. After the morning activity of "what does kitty want" is played out - typically about 45 min - 1hour or so, he settles into his sleep spot for the day and you won't see him again until dinnertime (between 4-5pm). He seems to like a little more play before he heads out for the evening around 7-8pm.

Things to know: We are a Whole Foods Plant Based eating lifestyle couple/ household. We do not mind that you eat meat or oils, we just don't have anything in the house. We are NON SMOKING household (no vaping, cigs of any kind and this includes candles and/or incense). I am very sensitive to scents & smoke (so we do not have perfumes or fragrances in the house either). Rosco the cat does not appreciate other animals or children - this sit is only suitable for single or couple with no pets.
