We are going away for a short weekend in July and need a pet loving sitter/s to care for our dog Nooka and cat Tattie.

We live in a rural village in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Nooka is a very friendly, loveable and well behaved dog who is energetic on walks, but peaceful when at home. And Tattie our cat loves people but is very independent and really just needs feeding and the occasional treat. He can often enjoy spending time sat on your shoulder as you go about your business!

We do want our sitter to walk for an hour a day with the dog – whatever the weather. This is the most beautiful and varied walking area so it is really not a hardship if you like walking.

We do not want our dogs to be left alone for longer than, say, 4-5 hours at a time. The dog is so friendly she wins the hearts of everyone without exception! Please note – we would not want overnights away because the cat also needs attention and company.

Please water our indoor plants while we are away.

We have a cleaner once a week and the house is easy to keep up to scratch.

Our neighbours are very friendly and will be able to help with anything you might need. We have a superb Community Shop 3 minutes walk away which will allow you to stock up with all the basics as well as wonderful local produce of meat, poultry, eggs, veg, milk etc. Then there are Sainsbury’s and Waitrose supermarkets in our local town 10 minutes drive away.
