Two bedroom townhouse, Henley on Thames, looking after one lovely cat from 24th Dec 23 to 11th Jan 24
Description
We need a catsitter (female please – our cat prefers girls!) to care for our friendly cat.
My home is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Henley on Thames. It is a warm, two bedroom townhouse, with two parking bays, separate living room and kitchen. There is a small attractive garden. Please note, there is no tv in the property, however, we have good wifi around the house.
Henley on Thames is a pretty riverside town in South Oxfordshire. Good location to reach Reading, Maidenhead, Oxford and London with ease. There is good transport network, with regular buses and a train station. Henley’s riverside location, surrounded by a Chiltern landscape of wooded hills and green fields, lends itself to relaxation, long lunches and quirky shopping.
I have a two year old male cat, named India (or Indie as he’s also called). He’s a gentle and loving boy, who has a routine (play, eat, sleep!) He is happiest when he’s having outdoor adventures, patrolling his territory and then coming indoors and sleeping in one of his favourite cosy places which is upstairs. We have noticed how much of a routine boy he is, so you can usually predict when you’ll find him upstairs sleeping or when he jumps back over the garden fence at the and of the day to settle in for the night.
He finds feet fascinating and seems to enjoy being stroked when we use our feet, quite amusing! But really, any kind of attention and petting goes down well. He likes it when people are around, and whilst he won’t jump onto your lap, he does like being nearby and feeling included in group dynamics.
You’ll get the best out of India if you spend time chatting and telling how beautiful he is! Typical fun games for him include; string games up and down the stairs, the red laser light toy, tapping ping pong balls under the coffee table and hide behind door are a few.
