URGENT Housesit 15 November (or earlier) – 12 December Falmouth JAMAICA – 1 dog
URGENT REQUIREMENT – My housesitter has become unwell. I need to replace the sitter with new sitters urgently. Can you help? ideally you would arrive on Monday 11 November, however, we have cover through the week to flex around your arrival. I am abroad at the moment but have many friends nearby who can help you settle in. Please get in touch if this is possible.
I live on the North coast of Jamaica 15 minutes drive from the market town of Falmouth in Trelawny. The property is in a quiet, secure gated community on the highway, mid way between Montego Bay and Ochio Rios. My home is a small, open plan, modern, uncluttered house with a fully equipped kitchen, wifi and hot water. The back yard is ‘under construction’ and someone comes regularly to chop down the weeds. I have lots of young plants that will require watering in the dry season but the real hard work is taken care of. There is a shady gazebo to relax away from the sun.
MY PET DOG
Max is my baby & the main reason I need a house sitter. He is a 4 year old, half German Shepherd and half Rottweiler with energy and needs regular walks. Hes totally docile and loves cuddles, playing ball and lots of attention. Max’s biggest faults are jumping up on visitors with muddy paws, chasing cats if he gets the chance and having selective hearing. Otherwise he’s gorgeous. He is trained to sit, lay down, roll over, wait, shake hands, heel and go to bed but commands work so much better with doggy treats…
MAX – Usual routine for Max is a twice daily walk: first thing in the morning before it gets too hot, dinner & play time in the evening.
Max lives outside in a secure yard. He has his dog house but tends to find his own little spots to shelter from the heat outside. He’s afraid of thunder & will make a dash for the house if he thinks he can squeeze by you to get in. Once in the house its a real pain in the a # to get him out again!
He is generally in good health and all his medical vaccinations are up to date. The vet does house visits and knows Max well.
I need you to water the garden please, I am nurturing plants that just need a little TLC each day.
The housing scheme is very friendly & I can link you with several people and friends who can offer support or help in an emergency. There are no shops or bars within walking distance but my old (and well maintained car) is available for local trips. Longer trips will need to be made by public transport. Please note that taxis are cheap here.
Whilst you are taking care of my home & my baby, I will be in UK working. I will be contactable day or night on WhatsApp or however you prefer to communicate. The most important thing to me is that Max is well taken care of and he is walked twice a day please.
