Village House in rural Aragon to care for one dog and a cat starting 24th November for a few days. Can be extended if desired
Description
We live in a small village in the picturesque area of Matarraña, Aragon, known as the Spanish Tuscany for the olives that grow round here, and are sought after by lovers of olives.
The house dates from 1920, but has been lovingly restored into 3 individual flats, 2 of which we rent as tourist flays and the other we live in. As much as possible, we have retained original features, but all the flats have air-conditioning as well as a biomas central heating and hot water system to provide the modern comforts we all enjoy as well as a good wifi.! For this reason, we can offer any pet sitters the opportunity to extend their stay and enjoy one of our tourist flats at no expense to them, in return for the specified pet sitting.
We are going to a School reunion at the end of November and so we need our beloved animals looked after for this period.
The responsibilities are fairly light. Valiente likes to go for walks and explore the local area. Sid has a cat flap so comes and goes as he likes. In the afternoons and evenings, he does like to sleep on our sofa in our flat. Sid is fed once a day and Valiente, over the course of the day, using his food allowance as reward for good behaviour and choices.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this sit are quite light. Valiente can be taken for walks nearby, or taken by car to further afield as long as he has his muzzle on in the car. It is not a hard task to muzzle him. In the village, we keep him on a long line as he is reactive to other dogs and humans. He is most at ease in the countryside.
Sid the cat is fed once a day in his bowl outside our apartment. He has a cap flat in the door onto the street and will come and go as he pleases. He does love spending time with visitors, but spends the night outside the apartments.

Things to know: We will be away from Friday night time until Monday evening. It would therefore be necessary ideally for any sitter to arrive on the Friday or earlier, so that we can introduce Valiente to his new friend, or friends.
Both pets are quite easy to care for and their routines are quite easy to accomplish. Valiente is a nervous dog, but once he knows you, he is loving and loyal. In a car, he needs to be muzzled because his nervousness means he has a tendency to bite seatbelts in seconds! He is otherwise easy to care for, and not an aggressive dog.
