Big young dog likes constant human companion. She can patiently sit and wait or be out all day hiking, or enjoying the beach, cafe, restaurant and shops along with you in super-dog-friendly Southern California. She is very happy just lounging around. She just gets anxious when there are no humans in the house. Outside the house she is a real athlete, albeit a very obedient one. wife is traveling, while other owner (academic/computer scientist) is at home and work. Small dogs like a walk, but are fine lounging at home most of the day. Home owners are friendly, easy going, quiet nature lovers with old dogs. We got stuck with big, young foster dog saved an hour before she was due to be euthanized. Big dog was so nice the bad shelter did not want to put down to sleep and was begging for her to be rescued. California euthanizes 2million dogs a year. She was saved from a shelter that kills 10000 dogs a year. We love the ocean and hiking in nature. We help save Monarch butterflies and feed the hummingbirds. We recycle. We care about nature and humans. The home was remodeled inside and out between 2018 and 2020. Of course, more things can be done. This is a home not a mansion, but it is cozy, airy and with abundant light. Private quarters are very spacious. Bedding is premium. We keep the house sparkling clean and well organized and appreciate the same particularly in the kitchen and bath area. There are robot vacuums and robot mops running often as well as cleaning service and deep cleanings. You do not have to worry about the latter. They are provided for you. We know sharing the house with the owner is not easy for everyone but we try to make it easy and hassle-free for you. Hybrid Car is available for your use during the week, minivan for your weekends. ID and recommendations required. Attraction tickets for your weekend. Watch hundreds of dolphins jump and swim around a tour boat or go to the amusement park. Go see the seals at Saint Louis Obispo. Explore the beauty of California or visit Las Vegas. Have fun.
