They say a change is as good as a rest and though I live here in beautiful Dorset the opportunity for house and petsitting satisfies my desire for new experience and a change of scenery …whilst offering a valuable service . For several years until retirement I lived and worked as a nurse in New Zealand and Australia, often house sitting for friends and acquaintances . I am clean,reliable,trustworthy and practical and give full assurance to care for your home and small pet(s) as my own . Here at home time is spent dog sitting and walking our family cockerpoo ( or spoodle as they’re known in Australia 🤭) , cycling many miles with the local cycling club and nurturing my allotment ..participating in DIY or baking . I am single, hold a full drivers licence and am a non- smoker .

-Jean is an excellent sitter – highly recommended. She took great care of our dog and home and we felt at all times that we had left everything in a safe pair of hands. We hope she’ll be able to come again sometime.

-Jean turned up early and was very flexible in what she was able to do to help whilst we were away. At the last moment I asked if she would help take my mum for her weekly shop which she agreed to do straight away. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for her. She left the house very clean and stripped the bed which is always a huge help. I think Jean would suit a single dog or elderly small dog sit very well indeed.

-Jean was well organised and reliable. She looked after our little dog brilliantly. Loves walking so Millie was very happy! She left the house immaculately and stripped the bed so it was easy on our return. She was so easy to get on with. Lots of common sense and we left for our holiday with peace of mind which is always a great thing!
