I am Australian (British born) and retired recently. I am 64 and was an optometrist. Now I want to travel in France for 5 months from April to improve my language skills and immerse myself in the culture and countryside. My leisure activities are hiking, nature and camping among others. I am used to looking after country properties with land and small animals (sheep, hens, cats). I’m very practical and can operate most machinery (ride-ons, chainsaws etc.) as needed and look after pools and equipment. I am fastidious about house tidiness and cleaning so please don’t worry about that! Above all your pets will be well loved and tended and you will be able to return from your trip and find everything just as it was.
